Who we are

Welcome to Manatee Reads! We are a volunteer-based nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the level of functional literacy of adults in Manatee County by teaching English native speakers to read and write better and speakers of other languages to read, write and communicate in English.

Services are provided confidentially and free of charge to Manatee County adults regardless of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, or socio-economic status. Read more...
